Handicap winner John Miller with Tom Cox getting a 1/2yard punch.

John won the caps and the HOA with Karole winnning the doubles event.
Charlie Brown managed to sneak away with the singles win but it was “Miller Time” from then on. Johnathan Miller tied for “A” class, won the handicap and took the HOA also. Not to be outdone his wife Karole out shot all doubles entries with her highest doubles score ever.
Windy – was that what we called it? There were times when the wind blew so hard the target would travel 2 fields to the right in the air. Chris Shoulars stated that one of his missed targets landed on Roger Shaffer’s front porch. When Karole Miller called for a doubles pair a missed bird from trap 2 wound up in the middle of her pair. With three targets in the air she broke the correct two targets.
Lunch – was great and it consisted of spaghetti and meatballs with Italian bread. To top it off Lee Ann made up a batch of her famous “Elmo” peach cobbler. We sure hate Elmo wasn’t there to partake in all those fine groceries. I know he would have commented that the cobbler was “mighty fine”.
