Happy New Year and what better way to usher in a new year but by holding a trapshoot. The Buckhorn Gun Club hosted an event to welcome in the New Year January 2nd. The weatherman had predicted early showers then clearing. It turned out to be clear and perfect in the morning and then the rain arrived with cooler temps.
Looking at the scores it seems that one fellow was happy to be shooting in the State of North Carolina and not in the cold climes of his home state Pennsylvania. John Miller posted the high singles score and then backed that up with the high handicap score also.
Also our friend Dan Johnson provided some scoring expertise for all that attended. We are glad to have him back in the area and hope to see him shooting some in the near future. Dan is always stirring the pot and he suggested I post a few things along with this info. I have decided to refrain so as to not get chased around by Jimmy Wilson at the next shoot.
