Shooters that stayed home for the Grand had a little fun at the Rock Saturday. We had a good turnout and the weather was great for shooting.
Yes it was hot and the wind blew a little during the caps. Charlie Rinehart posted the high score in the singles with a 49. Ronnie Manuel had the lone 47 with a group of 46 scores close behind.
The caps cranked up and the top scores were broken by me and a former military shooter Charles Armentrout. Charlie Rinehart held it together and put up a 43 for a 92 total and the winning score. He will be spreading lead from the 27 the next time out.
Mel Pempsell and Norman Parrish shared the spoils for the "Low Lewis" and promised to spend the money wisely. All in all everybody had a great time and we hope the will show up for the next LCS on Labor Day weekend.
