Post by smokem »

Buckhorn Gun Club hosted a two-day shoot with hot temps and high scores. Saturday found Craig Dunn from South Carolina winning the singles, Jimmy Wilson winning the caps and Tommy Brown the doubles.

Sunday it was the Tim Crabtree show with Tim winning the singles and the caps. Doubles were not partaken of due to the extreme high temps.

One brief note to ponder.. Jimmy Told me that Morris Carroll and Ike Branthwaite spent some quality time putting a fresh coat of green paint on the traphouses and replacing boards in the benches where needed. He might have told me a few more things these fellows did to spruce up the club. Along with a fresh grass trim that Jimmy did prior to the shoot he said the place looked great..
