I guess everyone survived the Thanksgiving holiday and looking forward to Christmas. An expensive time of the year for some with youngins to buy for and all the family. It can also be a tough time for some with limited funds and remembering family that have gone on. Regardless it is a fun time of the year for sure.
Brushy Mountain cancelled their shoot due to weather and Buckhorn cancelled also. Saturday was a cool blustery day, but Sunday was much nicer for sure. The weather prediction for Monday looks a little iffy and it will probably paralyze the Triad. Buckhorn will shoot on the 3rd of January 2026 so please make a note of it…..
I did a little looking for some pull triggers for an AL-391 and a 303. I checked out trapshooters.com and ACSS has both a 391 and 303 pull trigger group. I need them for when I take folks to the club, they can shoot my Beretta’s and not get beat to death. Of course, if anyone is reading this and has a pull trigger for either gun, please let me know.
I sent a text to Tom Shelley, and he was looking at snow falling and had a pot of beans and ham hock cooking on the stove. That was earlier in the week when snow was predicted for this are – that never happened. It sure would be nice to see Tom back on the line in 2026. Give him a call if you have his number and give him some grief.
I missed posting the news that South Carolina shooter Roger Latham passed away. He had been inactive due to a stroke and had some complications that he encountered. During the time I was looking for his obituary I ran across the obituary for Charlie Ackroyd and I missed that altogether. Certainly, both will be missed by friends and family.
