Reporting from Salt Lake City and hope to be in Jamestown about 3PM Friday. Weather has been great here and we hope the weather cooperates in the skies Friday.
James Wilson was nice enough to call me and give me a bit of info about the shooting today at the Homegrounds.
Henry McGinnis once again proved that you can beat the field with an 870. He broke the lone 100 with George Sudderth, Charlie Brown and Jimmy Wilson posting 99's.
The caps were won by a fellow from PA with a 98 and Jimmy didn't remember his name. He wears a tie when he shoots and his wife wears a dress while shooting. Jimmy Wilson took the next top spot with a 96 from the back fence.
Jimmy Wilson led all doubles shooters with a 97 and put up an impressive 292x300 on the first day of shooting.
The weather was overcast and muggy with temps in the high 70's. They had two or three sprinkles of rain and that was about it.
Jimmy said that folks were coming out of the woodwork to attend the HOF and the banquet. Dan is heaaded up in the AM with Mary and Anthony. Tim & Thea, Chuck Woody and his wife, Jimmy's mom and stepdad will attend along with Little Jimmy and his girlfriend.
Should be fun for all and I was told that if any funny stuff went on Jim would break my neck and he will break Dan's nose and finger. Such an angry soon to be "paranoid" inducted into the NC HOF inductee.....
