Another Christmas in the books and here comes the New Year. I hope everyone enjoyed some time off and made some great memories with the family. Regardless if you got the gift you wanted or didn’t, having fun with the family is priceless.
Not much on the calendar but Brushy Mountain shoots this Saturday the 2nd and the Buckhorn Gun Club shoots the 3rd. Weather for Saturday is mid 40’s and a chance of rain. Sunday weather looks dry with temps in the mid 40’s also. Of course, weather could change things so shooter beware of shoot cancellations.
South Carolina shooter Dave Daily is heading up to Seven Devils in the NC mountains Monday. Weather looks pretty dry but daily highs in the mid 30’s with winds 15-30 could make it no fun on the slopes or tubing runs. He said he might call some of the Watauga folks just to catch up and say hello.
I am including a link to the smoke report on 12/30/24. Sometimes it is neat to look back a year to see what was going on. Here is the link…. (96) December 30th Smoke Report - tarheeltrap.com
