Looking a little further into November Ft. Bragg will shoot the 15th and Charlie Brown will shoot a BIG50 on the 16th. These are two great places to shoot and if you have never shot at Bragg or Charlies Browns this is the time to get it off your bucket list.
Marty Hill was nice enough to give me a quick overview of the winners at OH@RM Sunday. Karole “CupCake/Pickle Ball Girl” Miller won the singles with a 97. Ronan Weary won the handicap with a 91 and David Nelson won the doubles with an 82 and won the HOA. They had 11 entries and finished by 12:30. That is it for OH@RM for 2025 and look for future dates in 2026.
We are at the Outer Banks for a little surf fishing and had the pleasure of meeting Joe Moore that owns and operates “One Last Cast” in Avon NC. At 89 years young he is the go-to guy for anything surf fishing and was one heck of a trapshooter and skeet shooter back in the day. I didn’t have a lot of time to talk about shooting but he mentioned that he won the Delaware State Handicap in 1968. If you do venture to Avon make a special effort to go visit you will be glad you did.
