RCGC AIM Clay Target Championship 5/10/2025

The Rockingham County Gun Club hosted a youth-oriented BIG50 Saturday and had a decent turnout. For about 5 years the shoot was normally held on the first weekend of May but what magically appeared was the SC State and the NCHOF on that date? Well, what can you do but move your date and hope it all works out well. At one time the shoot was under the auspices of SCTP but that is another story all together. Now it is an AIM affiliated event and hopefully the annual event will grow in the future. Maybe the SC State will return to Spartanburg in mid-May and the NCHOF will go back to April in 2026?

22/18/14 stepped to the line and Gage Malone won the singles with a 49 after a shoot off with Cole Steele. VA shooter Matthew Coates won the handicap with a 46 and a shoot off with Jacob Gossett and Clay Price. Greyson Stainback won the doubles with a 48 and the HOA with 139x150. Thanks to all that showed up to participate and to all that helped.
