2011 NC State Blurb For Saturday
147 shooters hit the line under Carolina blue skies and moderate winds. There were four 100's in the morning and six 100's in the afternoon.
There were 18 scores from 195 up in-state and 21 scores 195 and up for the out-of-state crew. Some great scores were broken today and Chase Reese broke his 1st 100 today in the 2nd 100.
I don't have the time to discuss all of the winners and only have a few details on the shootoffs. I do know that Kenny Inman won the NR Hi-Gun with a 199 and shootoff over Mike Burnette and Jim Blevins.
Jimmy Wilson and Charlie Brown knotted up with 199's and headed to the line. Charlie dropped one early and all Jimmy dropped his last target to send them into an extra round.
Brad Barnett - JD Goodwin and Terry Roush were also in the squad with Jimmy and Charlie. Brad broke 23 with JD and Terry breaking 22's. I don't know how that turned out for them.
Jimmy and Charlie stepped to the line and Charlie broke them all with Jimmy missing one target. That was some great shooting nonetheless.

Just a note - 180 shooters participated in the 2010 Singles Championship for a point of reference.
