The Buckhorn Gun Club hosted a two-day trapshoot that attracted 27 different shooters with Ed Stevens from Shelby, Danny Lloyd from Oriental and Charley Rinehart from Virginia. The weather was almost perfect for the singles and caps with a touch of wind during the doubles. From the scores it looks like everybody had a great shooting Saturday.
The youngins gave the older crew a run for their money with Sub Junior Addison Callan knotting up with AA shooter Charlie Ackroyd with 196's. Also, Chase Reese broke his lifetime high doubles scores with a 98/97 that tied him with All-American Kentucky shooter Kevin Parrott.
Young Chase and Addison wound up just a bird apart for the HOA with Chase breaking a 475x500 and Addsion with a 474x500. We need to check and see what these guys are eating for breakfast because I would like a portion or two...

What a weekend and Jimmy and the Buckhorn crew want to thank everyone that attended the two-day event. It takes a lot of work putting on an event like this and hats off to all that pitched in to help.
Also - thanks to our roving photog Dan Johnson for capturing some timeless photos like Chase after his 195 in doubles and John Miller's cap after it took a load of lead. This ought to inspire others to carry a camera and make a memory and share it.
