Another great weather weekend across the Southeast and one 2-day trap shoot at the Buckhorn Gun Club. One trapshooting event this week with CCLEOA hosting a BIG50 on Friday.
19/20/12 participated at BGC Saturday and there were two 99’s in the singles with Joe Nalley and Mark Spoon posting the Bozo’s. Three 89’s in caps with Greg Robinson, Kevin Biss and Eric Sherer getting punch for their efforts. Mark Cox won the doubles with a 91 and the HOA.
Sunday 13/12/8 stepped to the line with Sai Konda posting the lone 99 in singles. Sai Konda and Mark Cox tied for handicap honors with 85’s and Greg High and Mark tied for doubles with 87’s. Mark won the HOA for his 98/85/87=270x300. Buckhorn hosts a BIG50 on the 22nd so make plans to attend now.

I dropped by Sportsmans Warehouse the other day and they had just about any flavor of shotgun shell you could imagine. Premium shells at almost $15 a box and all others at $10 a box. Eagle brand shot was $60 a bag and the 4 box packs were in the $40 range. When you start adding up the cost of 100 targets it looks like this - $40 shells + $36-$45 targets + $8 for ata/ncta fees it is almost $100 if you add lunch and gas……..but what else are you going to spend your money on?
