We had two Senior Vets that won in the COC at the Grand last week. Both Bill Howe and Charlie Brown took the time to give me some feedback on how long the shootoffs ran.
Bill commented that he had the only 25 out of the 5 he shot against. There were 3 on his squad that had a 100 straight - Larry sexton (3rd place) the gentleman from fla (odie ?) Jim Faber dropped 2 on last round for 98 and Jim Mitchell. They had an all Southern Zone squad with the 4 of them staying at the Oxbow Bed @ Breakfast. A very good experience according to Bill.

Charlie Brown emailed me that his shootoff went 13 rounds with Charllie breaking 324x325 and Patrick Lamont breaking 325x325 for the COC Champion.

All that I can say is that is some great shooting and I know North Carolina is proud of all the NC folks that participated at the Grand American!
