Gastonia had a decent turnout.
A variable 8 mph breeze blew from all points of the compass.
The run for the HOA was a race between Bill Howe and Jef Solomon.
After singles Bill was up by one, after Handicap Bill moved out increasing his lead to 9.
Then doubles was the equalizer with Jef coming from behind to erase Bill’s lead and they
tied for HOA with a 257. After an exhaustive shoot off Bill won, by a coin toss.
