Rockingham Shoot Report For October 10th & 11th, 2009

Post by smokem »

Shooters enjoyed two days of competition at the Rockingham Gun Club this weekend. Weather was good both days with a cool start to Sunday morning. Saturday marked National Trapshooting Day and Sunday was promoted as the “Red Dot Powder” shoot. Currently the Rock has 5 trap fields and has ERADS for three fields.

Tom Cox would like to thank everyone that came out for the 2-day shoot and to all that helped. Saturday night shooters were treated to a BBQ Pork chop dinner with all the trimmings prepared by Scott Shoulars. Lee Ann produced a peach cobbler that was to die for according to JC Nunn.

We would like to welcome back Ronnie Manuel to registered trapshooting. He used to shoot years ago and had to put it on hold while raising a family. All I can say is welcome back and good shooting today.

I hope everybody has a great week and don’t forget the trapshoots this weekend. Gastonia shoots Saturday and Buckhorn Hosts the Ted Smith shoot Saturday & Sunday!!
