Hello and another great weather weekend in North Carolina. Of course, everyone remembers what happened on 9/11 and our prayers go out to all the families that lost so much on that day. Everyone has a story of where they were on that day that they will remember forever.

Durham County hosted their monthly registered shoot Saturday, and it was well attended. The power went out again and they made the best of it until it came back on for the doubles. The generators allowed them to run three traps during the outage. Larry High won the singles with a 95, Andy Clayton won the caps with a 93, Caleb Mathis won the doubles with a 95 and the HOA with a 277. Hopefully that power situation will get resolved for future events because they do put on some great shoots!

Rockingham County hosts their Memorial Shoot Saturday. Lots of very interesting individuals called RCGC home and they have gone on to their reward. Some were known for shooting and others for giving their time and effort to make RCGC what it is today. Sandy Wyatt has donated $100 for the top handicap shooter Saturday and Mark Spoon won it for the first-time last September.

That is about it for this week, and I hope everyone enjoys the weather as it is bound to get cooler. Hello to Scott, Ronnie, Cowboy, Tim, Bobbie, Thea and Anne and until next week……….smokem
