March 2018 Monthly 100 Trap Shoot Results
It was cold (40’s) and overcast but no wind or rain. The cool weather kept our attendance down plus a memorial service for Nate Lipsen was held Saturday afternoon in Southport, NC. Nate was a great guy and regular shooter with us and also belonged to the St. James Rifle and Pistol Association. Nate was a real gentleman and he will be missed. We had a total of 7 shooters for our event. Singles was won by David Barron with a 93. Pat Childers was runnerup at 92 and Michael Kato took third with a 91. Dave Eslinger finished fourth with an 83. A pair of 78’s by Wayne Averill and Scott King captured fourth. Four of us took on Handicap. Scott King from PA was first with an 89. David Barron was second at 83. Michael Kato fourth with a 78 and Pat Childers fourth with a 75. Nicer weather next month should yield more shooters and competition.
