We had a good crowd this week, 15 shooters participated. Conditions were good except for the wind. We had some strong gusts making for some really difficult targets to hit. Otherwise the targets flew nice and true except for 1 or 2 broken targets. Top gun for the week was Pat Childers with a 44. That “high score” should tell you how difficult the targets were in the wind. Runner up was Rich Long who took out 41 targets. Fred Barnett was third with a 38 and we had a tie for fourth. Frank Caruso and Paul Miraglia both broke 36. Fifth place was a 4 way tie with 35’s shot by Bill Boston, Mike Petrone, Rich Savitsky and Harold Smith. Other shooters participating this week included Wayne Averill, Charlie Bertrand, Larry Dudley, Frank Harris, Fred Truelove and Bill Gugel.
Alright, here’s a challenge for all of you. Let’s field 4 full squads, 20 shooters next Wednesday. Can we do it? Of course we can!
