The weather and wind cooperated to produce some excellent shooting conditions at the Durham County Wildlife Club today. This event was the last shoot of the "official" extended target year and some took advantage of the good weather.
First thing I would like to do is say thanks to Doug and Kim McKinney for running a great shoot. Everything ran smoothly and the lunch was absolutely delicious! Durham is an interesting place to shoot and the all orange targets were great.
Singles - Gorgeous George Brown rose to the top of the heap, Richard Richards took AA, James Hicks won the flip for A with Tommy Brown, JC Nunn took B, John Woolsey took C, Bob Mizner took D, Jeri Wilson took lady, Addison Callan took subjr, Andrew Carroll took vet and Ted Bigelow took srvet.
Handicap - James Hicks was the top gun and will shoot from the 22 the next time out. JC Nunn took short, John Woolsey took mid, Tommy Brown took intermediate, Jeri Wilson took LONG (Dan make a note of that:-), Kim McKinney took lady, Addison Callan took subjr, Charlie Ackroyd took vet, Robert Borgwardt took srvet.
Doubles - Kenny Cox came out of the woodwork to take hi-gun, Freddy Redmon took A, Doug McKinney took B, Chuck Woody took C, Charlie Ackroyd took vet and JC Nunn took srvet.
HOA - Tommy Brown outproduced the rest of the field with a 280x300 - Great JOB!
