Buckhorn Shoot Report 6/21/2015

[straightaway]

Just a bit on the toasty side today - mid 90s. The ever present breeze was hot to boot. Targets were sporty for all 3 events..........
17 shooters toed the line for singles. Two traps were used, 2 & 3. Handicap saw three traps in rotation with13 shooters doing battle and good old #1 in service for 8 doubles participants.
"Cupcake" Karole Miller broke the mid 50 and tying Chase Walker with a 97 in the caps. She graciously let Chase win the shoot off, then shook the pot money at him, laughing all the way.......

Lucille brought Charlie Brown to the club to visit. Charlie was cutting part of a roof off of a trap house and fell off, breaking his left heel. Charlie may be out of action for the next 8-12 weeks. Now, we've all seen the guy sitting on the wrong side of the tree limb while cutting it off.............well, there ya go........

Darvin put a new stock on his Kolar and was out tuning it up getting ready for the SZ........

Once again, a huge thanks to all that pitch in to perform all the work that goes in to putting on a shoot. Everybody that didn't show up missed out on a great meal including cake, peach pie and Marty's home made ice cream (yes Marty, I did eat the ice cream complete with chocolate and caramel topping)
