Addison and I arrived Friday night for the 2012 Dogwood Open.
The forecast called for a warm Saturday and a rainy Sunday.
These weatherman should be dancing on our trap houses...
The weather was overcast and cool on Saturday and nice on Sunday.
Below is a cloud cast view on Saturday during the 2012 Dogwood Open shoot.
Here is a photo of Greg High's squad 12 on Saturday with George Brown taking
a shot from post 2.
Below is the Lane Murray / Galloway Squad (17).
Here is the famous J.C. Nunn taking a shot from post 1.
The following photo shows George (Jeff) Hafkemeyer on post next to Charlie Brown in
handicap
Here is Charlie Brown on mount in the handicap event.
Here is a Charlie Brown action shot.
Here is a photo I snapped of junior shooter Wylie Schnedl with his parents.
As most know, Addison and I squad together so it is rare I get photos of us. But,
here is Addison Callan taking advantage of the what he refers to as the
"forgotten teenage hobby" while "On Deck."
We also caught Jeri Wilson zooming down in the cart to join us on the doubles line.

More Photos
We also caught Jeri Wilson in deep concentration prepping for doubles.
She was quite pleased with her stellar 90 in doubles.
Below is a photo of George (Jeff) Hafkemeyer and his doubles squad.
Tom Brown should be pleased we caught this nifty doubles action shot off post 5.
Here Tom crushes the left target (in background) as he is just beginning his
right swing to the target on his right. Dead pair Tom.
This just struck me as "Patience on Deck."
Here is the Greg High championship singles squad.
Below I caught Jennifer Anders in a handicap action shot.
Here is Jennifer Anders on mount.
Here is the entire Michael Pobiega handicap squad.
This is a photo Down the Line on Sunday.
Below June Tollison Preps to shoot.
This caption just screams "Here we are On Deck again..."

Final Photos and Pigg / Galloway Shoot Off
Below is Billy Thigpen on mount during the handicap championship.
Below is Greg High mounting his gun on the same handicap squad.
This squad was "heavy hitters," as Gerge Sudderth catches a bird from post 3.
Here folks are studying the targets.
Below I want you to contemplate this photo.
I wanted to caption it
"Both can Kill...
Be Safe. Don't Smoke."
Here is a dead bird for Greg High.
One of the highlights of the 2012 Dogwood was the Donnie Pigg and Hunter Galloway
handicap shoot off for Vet honors.
Below I have Donnie Pigg in concentrated mount. (Donnie did win after three rounds.)
Not to be outdone, Hunter Galloway was also in deep concentration.
Here is a nifty action shot Hunter took during the shoot off with our pirate friend
Lane Murray as right-hand additional scorer.
It was not all pure shoot offs. Here is George Brown taking in the "eye candy" of
the latest USA Trapshooting magazine.
In a "fun" shot, I took Jeff Galloway taking a photo of me taking his photo.
And, below is I think my best shot of the tournament. I have 8x10 glossies
available .
