Better late than never is what they say. Big thanks to JL for getting the site back online. IT related web issues can be a maddening adventure. I just realized it was back up yesterday and decided to update the 12/8 report and of course the report for this week.
Big week for most with all the prep for the Christmas Holiday next week. Looks like Brownell’s has some Red Dot for sale, and it is a bit pricey. Not much on my list this year other than shotgun shells.
Just in case you want to shoot this weekend the Brushy Mountain GC in Hurt VA will host a BIG50 to make up for an earlier shoot that was cancelled for weather. Weather looks like 52 and sunny with minimal winds. Very interesting place to shoot and a wild right hand bird on the right trap……….
I did a little research and found a site to fall back on in case this page is unavailable. Check out TRAPnNC.freeforums.net Right now it is under construction and as time allows, we will build it a little different than THT. If nothing else I will post the smoke report to keep that going. Please register on TRAPnNC and you can also add information or comment on current threads.
The next registered shoot in North Carolina will be at the Buckhorn GC January 3rd, 2026. With the crazy NC weather, it could be 32 or 64 degrees.
