Ronnie Manuel waited until the next to last Lewis Class shoot to secure a spot in the singles shootout December 4th. There were two 47's and one 46 broken in the singles with Ronnie and Keith Ainsley with the 47's and Charlie Rinehart with the 46.
The weather was beautiful with temps in the mid 60's and minimal winds. The clouds started drifting in towards the beginning of the handicap rounds.
Ronnie came alive in the handicap with a solid 25 on the field I was scoring and then a 21 for the highest handicap score of the day. Charlie Rinehart broke them hard from the 27 for the next highest score with a 44.
We were happy to see father and son - Dave and Alex Wise shooting today in the shoot. Dad was sporting a 12 guage 1100 and Alex was shooting an O/U 20 gauge.
We had door prizes I believe 6 turkeys to give away for Thanksgiving. The Lewis class winners were Ronnie Manuel - Keith Ainsley and Dave Wise.
We will be making a decision in the next day or so and decide what day the next Lewis Class shoot will be held. We found out today that Lewis won't be able to attend the 4th.
We might be able to hold it on Saturday the 3rd. Scott Shoulars suggested that we count the 50 singles targets in the program to determine who steps to the line in the singles shootout.
