What a great day at DCWC. Thank you to all who stopped by and visited us today for our 9.18.2011 trap shoot. It was great to Phil Davis and his son Phil Davis, II standing on the trapline together just smashing targets. What a sport we get to share with family and friends!! The day started out fairly cloudy and a little windy for singles, but that didn't seem to bother several shooters as you can see by their scores. By the time Handicap was started the sun came out and that made the targets light up, which was needed with the intermittent breeze that just wouldn't let up. We had shooters from five different states, plus two shooters that shoot ATA for the first time.

Our social committee cooked another fine lunch of grilled chicken, corn on the cob, green beans, potato salad, cole slaw and cheese cake. Next month's should be just as good.
Also, we will be trying something a little different for next month's shoot. We will throw a standard 300 bird program of targets only for $16/100, plus a $5 lewis option and mid-fifty option. Come out and enjoy the day with us at DCWC. Extra targets can be thrown on request.
