Another Lewis Class shoot has come and gone with long yarder "Sureshot" Tommy Brown taking the top spot and the "Cooter Pot".
Tommy won the high Lewis and Ronnie Manuel won the next Lewis. Tommy added the infamous horns for a little added excitement.
It was a cold grey misty day with temps at 11 about 42 degrees. There was very little wind and folks were shooting in their lite lenses.
We changed the format up a bit this time and used one field for the event. The format was 25 16's, 25 from the 20, 25 from the 22 and 25 from your ATA yardage.
At the end of the 75 Lane Murray was the man to beat with a 69x75. Three others trailed by either 1 or two targets going into the last trap.
When the smoke cleared Tommy broke a solid 23x25 to edge the next closest shooter by two targets.
Lunch was great with hotdogs, beans and some lemon pound cake. The next shoot at the Rock is the registered shoot the 19th of February. We are banding together to give the "White Hats" a run for their money and a chance to tie the series up.
