2014 Southern Grand American - Saturday
Saturday @2:30PM - 13 or 14 100's in AAA and 4 or 5 100's in AA this morning. Jeff Galloway broke his 1st 100 and shot on squad 30. They were on deck just a few minutes ago when I checked the scores. He told me Friday night that he was shooting on bank 1 for his 1st 100 and no telling where he will shoot his 2nd 100. 133 squads stepped to the line for the singles championship and it was 80 degrees at 2pm in Odessa. Say a little prayer for Jeff and I am predicting that he will break his 2nd 200 at the Silver Dollar.
2014 Southern Grand American - Friday
@2:45 Saturday - Missed most of the action on Friday due to a heavy work schedule. Jeff Galloway did win his doubles carryover from Thursday with a solid pair of 49's. That put him in a shootoff for AA and he fell a little short to Cody Sullivan from Arlington Indiana. Not too shabby to win one AA and two AA RU doubles trophies at the Southern Grand.
In Friday's Remington Nitro Handicap Jacob Allnut from Silver Springs Maryland won it with the lone 98. SC shooter Spencer Power won SubJr RU with a 94.

In Friday's Doubles Championship Harlan Campbell won it outright with the lone 100 and Clay Floyd took RU with a 98. Pfafftown's pride and joy Jared Pettet won RU "B" Class doubles after a shootoff with Turner Tate after they both broke 97's. Spencer Power won "C" Class RU with a 92.

2014 Southern Grand American - Thursday
@ 2PM - Event #10 David E. Dubble Handicap is underway with 112 squads for the event. One lone 98 is on top and that was produced by Keith Heeg. Four 97's, two 96's and scores of 95's are on the board along with a ton of 94's.
Looks like Jared Pettet made it to the Southern Grand and he had an 84 today. No other NC shooters on the bubble right now and the doubles should start very soon.

I talked with Jeff Galloway last night and he managed to win the AA Doubles carryover with a pair of 47's Wednesday. His competitor broke 47/42......

2014 Southern Grand American - Wednesday
@5:30PM - 102 squads for event #8 Prelim Caps and one 99 on top with Harlan with a 97 and KY shooter Terry Dean with a 96 along with Keith Parrot. The 99 was broken by SrVet Doug Kline and he broke it from the 19.5 yardline.
Spencer Power and Jim Blevins are on the board with Jim breaking a 93. Konne-Yaut Indian Gloria Wood is on the board and good luck to her this week.

Terry Dean got off to a slow start Tuesday with two scores in the mid sixties and glad to see him bounce back today! Doubles are getting ready to crank up and Jeff Galloway is in a carryover from the doubles on Tuesday!

@11:30AM - 111 squads assembled for Event 7 Singles Class Championship. Weather looks to be about 68 degrees and the wind is calm. Jeff Galloway posted a 98 in AA and Hunter posted a 96 in C Class this morning. Squad 90 is on the ready and I wasn't able to see how many 100's were posted in the AAA group.

2014 Southern Grand American - Monday - Tuesday
Tuesday @ 10PM - Day 2 of the Southern Grand and it looks like it was a bit windy. A few 100's in the singles and a 96 won the caps from the 18.5 yard line. Four 97's in the chase for AAA and AA with Jeff Galloway in the mix for his first doubles trophy of the week.
Looks like NC shooter Crews Walden won D Class Monday and Jim Faber from SC won A Class. Not much more to report other than the weather was awful and dangerous on Monday afternoon according to Hunter Galloway. Hopefully the weather will get warmer and the wind will get calmer.

Monday @11:27PM - Looks like the caps and dubs were cancelled due to bad weather......

Singles cranked up this morning with a delay due to lightning. Bill Howe struggled all winter but managed to break a 98 in "C" class this am. Crews Walden is sitting on top of his class with a 95 and Jeff Galloway managed to break a 96 after missing his squad of one other shooter.

Looks like SC Delegate Jim Faber is sitting on top of "A" Class tied with a 96 and SC shooter pat Childers is on the board also. Check back later for more updates from the SG..

Monday S 111 - No Caps/Dubs Weather

Tuesday S 121 - C 355 - D 244
