November 31st Smoke Report

Post by smokem »

Thanksgiving 2020 is in the books and here comes Christmas. I traveled to Murder/Myrtle Beach and lived to tell about it. Not much going on but you can look forward to Buckhorn hosting a shoot this Sunday the 6th of December.

Marty Hill announced that Ft. Bragg will be hosting registered shoots in 2021 and that is some great news. They will possibly host three shoots and those dates will appear in the NCTA calendar. If you never got to shoot at Ft. Bragg you are in for a treat.

Ran by Bass Pro Shops in Myrtle Beach and it was crawling with shoppers. Looked for shotgun shells and it was slim pickings. I did manage to buy about $300 worth of Estates and Remington STS at the Wal-Mart in Laurinburg. Folks are scrambling to buy shells and components for the new year.

The NCTA calendar is slowly but surely filling up with 2021 shoot dates. Hopefully, clubs will get their dates submitted so that you can prepare your year for NC trapshooting. Here are the links to both calendars. http://nctrap.com/shoots2017.pdf & http://nctrap.com/nc_big50.pdf

Ok folks have a great week and it looks cool and windy for at least Monday. Hello to Lou, Scott, Ronnie, Cowboy, Thea and Anne and until next week……smokem
