DCWC Shoot 5/25/19 -IMPORTANT UPDATE!

Post by Scotch25 »

A big Memorial Day weekend crowd gathered on a cool and breezy … oops, wrong state. It was a seriously toasty day at the Big D on Saturday, which started with the simultaneous disruption of 24 Erads. Theories offered to explain said event include; A secret Mike Pence visit to Raleigh, prompting Secret Service radio jamming; Dan Johnson sabotaging all operating receivers prior to disappearing into the ether; Bill De Blasio’s elevation to NCTA president, generating a “NYC” wake vortex that lasted until Marty agreed to serve out the remainder of his term; and first contact by an Alien society devoted to skeet shooting.

Update: Someone using their own Erad or someone manipulating a DCWC Erad inadvertantly went into administrator mode and simultaneously cleared all 4 receivers' field codes. All clubs using Erads should make their shooters aware of the potential for mishaps that can occur by messing with these rat bastards. Anyone wishing to use their own Erads at DCWC is welcome to do so. However, in the future we will require that the individual go through the ramrod to set up the device.

The DCWC crew sprang into action with some old-fashion cord pullers (invented at roughly the time Charlie Brown picked up his first trap gun) and the shoot proceeded apace. Other than shooters from Rockingham walking off with most of the option money, here’s what happened:
