Well we were blessed with another beautiful day on the mountain. The sun stayed with us most of the day and just a great pre fall day. Wind!!! Now that’s another story, wind was pretty steady at 25 mph most of the day. But is wasn’t enough to discourage fifteen hearty shooters.
Shooting we have this new shooter a Mr Steve Watson that has really been showing off the past couple of shoots. Two weeks ago he rode into Virginia TriAngle Gun Club and walked away with a little of Jim’s money, by taken handicap champ with a 95. Well this weekend he walked away with pretty much everything. Let’s see he took Singles Champ with a 99, then he took on the windy handicaps targets and posted a 91for Champ. Doubles he shot very well but Morgan Shaw jumped him by two targets to take Champ with a 89. Steve was able to hold on and take his first HOA by posting 277 X 300.
