CSL SHOOT 8-4

CSL SHOOT AUGUST 4, 2012
It was a beautiful day with little wind. We enjoyed good companionship and food ( even fresh peach cobbler all thanks to my wife) and saw some great shooting especially by the youngsters. Dane Westbrook shot the lights out with a 97 in singles. This was only his 4th time registering targets. He also shot his first 25 straight and followed that with another straight for 50 straight. His mom, dad, uncle and others were present to witness this. He was not wearing a hat but we will take care of that chore later. We had another new junior shooter, Cullen Hobbs, who is a friend of Dane’s. His parents came to watch him and he walked away with a new to him BT 99 purchased from Al Bost. He was an excited kid and shot well to have shot less than 10 rounds so far. Chase Reese topped everyone in singles with a 98 but chose the Junior category instead of Champ. CSL member Michael Graham topped handicap and was awarded a ½ yard punch. Al Williams shot his best doubles ever.
