Looking Back To February 20th, 2010

Mother nature cooperated Saturday and produced a beautiful day for trapshooting. It was cool in the morning and the wind blew on and off all day. A good number showed up for a great day of trapshooting at the Rock.

Singles – Chris Shoulars came down out of the hills to seal the deal in the singles with a 97. Ted Carwile was shooting right beside him and it went down to the wire with Ted breaking a 96 for AA. Michael Johns and Kenny Cox tied for A with Mike winning the flip. Ronnie Manuel took B, Lewis Wyatt took C, with Natalia Johns taking D.

Handicap – Marty Hill almost had a trip to the 25 with his hi-gun 91 to lead all shooters. Larry High took long, Kenny Cox took intermediate, Ronnie Manuel took mid, Luis Gonzalez took short, Natalia Johns took lady, Roger Shaffer took vet and Lewis Wyatt took senior vet.

Doubles – Marty Hill broke more twins than anyone else for top-gun honors. Ted Carwile took AA, Chris Shoulars took A, Lewis Wyatt took C and Michael Johns took D.

HOA – Marty Hill topped all shooters with 265x300

Well that is about it other than to say thanks for everybody that came out for the shoot and to everybody that helped run the event.
The lunch was great with hot dogs, baked beans and Natalia’s brownies and Mrs. Shoulars banana pudding. There was very little to take home after all the folks partook of the goodies.
Mark you calendars for our next shoot March 20&21, 2010….
