2010 Toys For Tots Scores

Toys for Tots cranked off today at the Buckhorn Gun Club near Mebane NC. Skies were clear and the temps a little cool for the singles but warmed up for the caps and doubles. When I arrived at the end of the caps the windmill was just a churning with wind blowing in from the North.

One interesting note was that Dan Johnson was in the area with a chance to land a job in the Sanford area. We are hoping and praying that he will show up back down here and maybe even get back to shooting one day.

The Gruesome Twosome from Watauga showed up and George gave Tommy Brown a run for his money for the HOA. Ed Rabenda showed up to shoot today and it has been ages since I have seen Ed at a trapshoot. Also we have a new ATA shooter and his name is Daniel Emory and he shot pretty well today to be new to registered shooting.

Singles – JR shooting phenom Chase Reese had the highest singles score with his first 75 straight on his way to a solid 99. Caps winner was Gail Page with a solid 94 and not enough shooters for a punch. Doubles winner was Tommy Brown with a strong 97 and he missed his last bird out.

Singles – 11 entries
99 – HiGun – Chase Reese
98 – AA – Tommy Brown
97 – A – Tom Kanas
90 – B – Bill Morgan

81 – Mid – Tom Shelley
91 – Short – Chuck Woody
82 – Lady – Ann Morgan
89 – Jr – Chase Reese
86 – Vet – Phil Berkowitz
